Government publishes carbon plan
The Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister yesterday launched a cross-Government action plan on climate change.
The Carbon Plan, which is being initially published in draft ahead of a final version in the autumn, highlights three key changes that the Government says will be required across the UK economy, including:

But 4 January 2011 marks the deadline that all air conditioning units over 12kW in capacity should have had their first inspection by an accredited engineer.

Energy Bill 2010 / 2011
On 8 December 2010, the Energy Bill was introduced into the House of Lords with its First Reading. A press release has been issued outlining the content of the Bill. The Second Reading is scheduled for 22 December 2010.
